Jean and Sheila Michel have dedicated their lives to providing quality foster care services to Developmental children and Adults in need. Our team of experienced professionals is committed to ensuring that every child and adult in our care receives the love, support, and attention they deserve. We work closely with families, social workers, and community organizations to create a safe and nurturing environment for our families and members. For years as owners, we opened our home to Development children and later adults for over 10 years. It has been one of the most loving and rewarding times of our lives. As owners of JS Loving Hearts, LLC, we believe that every child and adult with disabilities deserves a chance to thrive in the community to travel and do as much as other people, and we are here to help make that happen.

Nathanaelle Michel
Nathanaelle Michel is a licensed worker and supervisor with over 10 years of experience in the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) field and more than 15 years of experience in Assisted Living. She is currently employed with JS Loving Hearts, LLC, where she continues to provide compassionate care, professional oversight, and dedicated support to individuals and families.

With nearly three decades of dedicated service in social work, Margaret brings a wealth of experience to my role as a Licensing Specialist at JS Loving Hearts. My career has been centered around advocating for individuals and families, with a particular focus on children and adults with
developmental disabilities. In my current position, I am responsible for overseeing the licensure process for developmental homes, ensuring that each environment meets the highest standards of safety, nurturing, and
support. My background includes roles in hospice care, child protective services, and long-term care assessments, which have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse needs within our community.
I hold a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology and a BA (Honors) in Social Work Studies from the University of East London. Additionally, I am certified as an Advanced Palliative and Hospice Social Worker (APHSW-C) and hold a license as an Assisted Living Facility Manager. At JS Loving Hearts, I am committed to our mission of placing individuals in safe, nurturing, and supportive homes. I believe in the power of collaboration and compassion to create environments where individuals with developmental disabilities can thrive.

Latonya Jackson
Latonya Jackson is a seasoned care professional with over 35 years of combined experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (DDD), autism, dementia, and Alzheimer’s. Beginning her career in California as a behavioral specialist, she has dedicated her life to caring for vulnerable children and adults—a passion that began at the age of 13. Today, Latonya is a licensed assisted living owner of three residential care facilities throughout Arizona, where she provides hands-on, compassionate care for more than 25 adults. She specializes in supporting seniors with dementia who exhibit behavioral challenges and is deeply committed to enhancing their lives through engaging activities, community integration, and least-restrictive care environments.
As a licensed specialist with J.S. Loving Heart, Latonya is focused on bringing the same high standard of care to others. She plays a key role in guiding families and new providers through the licensing process, helping them understand how to deliver quality, person-centered care to the DDD population. Her mission is to ensure all individuals are treated with dignity, equality, and compassion—and to help others do the same.
